Usiré (Osiris) is not a messiah, nor a prophet, nor a savior. Osiris was the first to follow the laws of Ma’at (the only things to follow). It is therefore thanks to Ma’at that he has the status of first guide and first divine ancestor. That is why Osiris bears in the titles that characterize him NebMa’at (Master of the Ma’at). Like Osiris, we are all called to follow and apply the laws of Ma’at, not persons, messiahs, or prophets.
