
This 3rd path, the middle path, is represented here by a spinal column at the bottom of which is the pelvis; or the airways at the bottom of which are the 2 lungs.
So, energy has to be drawn from the pelvis to the top. This energy rises up like a snake. This ascent is done with meditation and Yoga.
It is also necessary to control one’s breathing to find this third path. The third path is therefore found through meditation and Yoga, breathing exercises and the practice of Ma’at (the good).
